i just entered this contest on a website where i could possibly win an ipod.
how exciting.

i had to enter twice, cos i entered once and it said you have to be a member to take part.
inefficient website.
so i became a member and re-entered.

i wonder when ill get my ipod.
i hope it’s the large capacity one and not some simple shuffle crap. i hate cheap gifts.

that reminds me of my charsi (junkie) joke. which i find really funny but noone else does. only misbah did.
misbah was/is this good friend of mine. who was with me at indus. hes in dubai now.

but when we were in school we were quite the team. but now we’re both grown up. i’m married, hes not. hes started smoking. i’ve quit. hes making lots of money in dubai. i’m not. in dubai or making money.

and he came to visit recently and we realized that it’s the end of the good times.

pretty soon we’ll have nothing to talk about. except each others work. and that gets boring real fast.
we could reminisce, but for how long?
pretty soon we’ll be reminiscing about reminiscing- and that’s certainly no fun.

i wonder.
i wonder if as we grow older…that’s all there is to do. reminisce about the good times.
which would mean that all good times end, sooner or later, and are replaced by times which aren’t as good.

how come everyone elses blogs are about so many other things? where as mine is always about me worrying about growing old.

ive realized people take their blogs really seriously.
as in they write with the intent that lots of people are reading their blogs. i can’t deal with that pressure. therefore i make my bloggy intentionally boring for anyone other than the people i know.

sometimes i make it boring for them too.
